I'm Back!

Published over 1 year ago • 1 min read

Hey There! If you don't remember me, I wouldn't be surprised. I have not sent out one of these emails in quite a long time. If you need a refresher on who the heck I am, I am Patrick Long from Omega Outdoors and I write about hunting. Here's a link to my about page.

You got on this list by either signing up on my website, Facebook, or a giveaway. You can unsubscribe from these emails if you want to, but I think you would enjoy the content I plan on putting out. The last time I tried keeping up with a newsletter, it was just me, but now I have built a team around me to help with the everyday writing tasks. Thankfully, that has freed me up a bit to get back into email.

You can look forward to (or opt out of) a weekly email from me about hunting and my take on some hot topics in the industry. If you would like to stay, you can expect a welcome email from me in a couple days.

I'll see you soon!

-Patrick

So when you use some automatic software to schedule out your emails, make sure you check back to see if it actually sent anything... If you haven't gotten an email from me in a while, it is because I made a few emails in advance and expected them to be sent out at the right time, but obviously, that didn't happen... For the few of you who have already received this newsletter, please disregard. For the majority of you... here is my deer processing newsletter! Today, I wanted to talk to you...

Many of you have probably heard of the buck killed out of Kentucky/Indiana recently. There has been a bit of controversy around it. It is said to have escaped off a high fence property in Indiana, which is supposedly not far from where the hunter lives. Another claim I have seen is that the hunter killed it on the high fence property and reported it killed on his 5 acre private property. The deer does not have a tag in its ear so who knows the real truth, but do you think this buck should go...
